Woman was disorderly in Ballymena

A WOMAN who was disorderly in the Railway Street area of Ballymena has been ordered to do 75 hours of Community Service.
Louise Kirk (39), a dinner lady, of Railway Street, also assaulted two police officers on July 25 this year.
A prosecutor said at 7.30pm on the date in question police attended a report of disorderly behaviour and gave Kirk advice.
A short time later police were called again and the defendant was spoken to in connection with an allegation of stones been thrown at a property.
The defendant swore and punched an officer on the chest.
She also tried to throw her head back to attempt to strike a female officer but no contact was made.
District Judge Nigel Broderick said it was the fourth similar offence committed by the defendant.
